We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Kyosk.App which will enable Kyosk merchants in Kenya and soon in Uganda, to access affordable inventory credit. Through this partnership, Kyosk merchants will enjoy the convenience of placing inventory orders on the Kyosk App and leveraging stock financing to pay on credit enabled by Pezesha.

The seamless access to inventory credit will ensure a steady cash flow for the merchants, allow for increased supplies, and enable them to meet the high demand for goods from their customers. Ultimately, Kyosk merchants, mostly micro-retailers, will no longer rely solely on personal assets or income sources to sustain their business operations.

According to a recent study of the micro-retail space in Kenya by technoserve, the biggest challenges faced by micro retailers are access to capital and supply chain barriers, which significantly hamper their business growth. Moreover, operating independently and purchasing low-volume inventory prevents them from qualifying for volume-based supplier discounts. The Pezesha inventory credit facility with affordable interest rates will streamline their business operations, ensuring business continuity and sustainable growth.

We are committed to empowering micro-retail merchants, who according to contributed approximately 7% to Kenya’s GDP in 2020. Together, Pezesha and Kyosk are poised to revolutionize retail business through our innovative and customer-centric financing solutions for small and medium-sized solutions.

“At Kyosk, we empower our customers to keep their business thriving. Our partnership with Pezesha provides access to stock financing and our commitment to excellence ensures the best experience for our valued merchants.” added Anthony Anyango — Associate Director, Financial Services, Kyosk

We are excited about our win-win partnership with Kyosk as it will drive supply chain optimisation for all the players but also deepen financial inclusion — Andrew Thiong’o, Business Development Lead, Pezesha
